The Saudi Arabian Super League club Al Ahli has officially confirmed the transfer of midfielder Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo.
The Saudi Arabian Super League and its clubs continue to attract household names to their championship.
The latest is the great Spanish talent, Gabri Veiga, who has been officially signed to Al Ahli today (Saturday).
It is Al Ahli itself that has officially announced through social networks the agreement with the player until the summer of 2026.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of Spanish midfielder Gabri Veiga, from Celta Vigo, on a 3-year deal,” Al Alhi said in a statement.
The transfer of Veigas is said to have cost the Saudi club 40 million euros, while he will earn a salary of 12.5 million euros per season.
Veiga will be in a team with familiar names such as Edouard Mendy, Merih Demiral, Frank Kessie, Roberto Firmino, Riyah Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin.
