Arsenal have not managed more than a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham in the third matchday in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta’s side missed out on a third consecutive league win after being held off by Fulham at the Emirates.
The first half of the match was characterized by the play and dominance of the locals, but it was only the guests who found the goal.
The only goal in this half came in the first minute through Andres Pereira, who scored from distance for 0-1, thanks to a poor decision by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
In the second half, Arsenal was clearly the better team and in addition to the created chances, they managed to score two more goals, but it was not enough as they conceded one at the end.
Arsenal’s equalizer came in the 70th minute through Bukayo Saka, who scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-1, while Eddie Nketiah (73′) put his side 2-1 up.
When it was expected that the game would end with Arsenal’s victory, midfielder Joao Palhinha (87′) appeared on the scene, who tied for 2-2 and this turned out to be the final result.
After this draw, Arsenal find themselves in second position with seven points, while Fulham are ranked 11th with four points.
In the next game, the Gunners host Manchester United, while Fulham travel to Manchester City.
