Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp was brief but confident when asked about the future of the team’s star, Mohamed Salah.

Earlier this week, Saudi media claimed that Salah would undergo a medical at Al Ittihad.

It was reported that the Saudi club is ready to pay 100 million euros for his services and make the Egyptian the highest paid player in the world.

However, Klopp’s behavior suggests there is nothing about a potential move for Salah to the Saudi Arabian Super League club.

After the dramatic end to the Newcastle game, Klopp couldn’t avoid a question about the future of the Reds star, but it was curt.

“Mo Salah’s story at Al-Ittihad hasn’t quite gone away, has it?” Sky Sports journalist Patrick Davison asked the German.

“For me, it’s over,” Klopp replied in a clear message that Salah will stay at Liverpool.
