Official: Inter sign Benjamin Pavard

Inter has announced the transfer of French defender Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich.

The Nerazzurri have confirmed the arrival of the defender with an official statement to the media, where he has signed a five-year contract until the end of June 2028.

The departures of Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio had left a void at the back of Inter and the club was forced to take a defender.

It is learned that the two clubs have agreed on a fee of around 30 million euros plus 2 million euros in bonuses.

A key factor in closing the transfer was Pavard’s insistence on joining Inter.

The 27-year-old’s contract with Bayern was expected to expire at the end of June.
