Erik ten Hag was not happy after watching Manchester United suffer a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal.

However, the Dutch coach said that their loss was the result of four mistakes made by the referees on the field and in VAR

He told Sky Sports: “It’s not offside. They saw it from the wrong angle. There was a penalty for Hojlund and a foul against Evans (for Rice’s goal).”

“Rasmus Hojlund had a very good impact on the game. The performance was fair. Everything went against us.”

“We have to improve. Today there were such small differences”, added Ten Hag.

The Dutchman appeared to be furious with the referee on a day that potentially cost his side at least a point, if not all three.

The Red Devils go into the international break with a bitter defeat and are outside the top-10 in the league table as well.
