Sofyan Amrabat has joined Manchester United after the Red Devils made great efforts to approach him.

It was first reported in the English media that Amrabat is injured and that he will miss the Red Devils for a period of six weeks.

However, that is not true, as Amrabat will join Morocco for international friendlies after rumors that he picked up an injury during his trials at Manchester United.

The Athletic reports that a slight back problem was discovered during his check-up, but that it is nothing serious and that Amrabat will be in action in the matches after the national team.

The 27-year-old has signed a season-long loan deal from Fiorentina, with the Red Devils paying an initial loan fee of €10m.

United will have the right to purchase the Moroccan at the end of the season for another 20 million.

Amrabat has now been introduced to United where he will wear the number four shirt.
