According to the Spanish sport blog Dario Gol, Lionel Messi has pressured the club to start immediately negotiation with Atletico Madrid for their best player Antoione Griezmann. Messi has said that Griezmann could play in the position of Andres Iniesta and is the best replacement for Iniesta who is at the end of his career.
Couple of days ago also Real Madrid had shown interest for Griezmann but a possible move like this could raise unhappiness for Atletico fans who are the biggest city rivals of Real Madrid.
For both Real Madrid and Barcelona would be very hard to make such a move for Griezmann, especially after the huge interest that Manchester United had shown for the player and it has been almost done deal that the transfer of Frenchman would make a new record for the club after the transfer of Paul Pogba last season.
