Hansi Flick has been dismissed from the position of selector of the German national football team.
The German Football Association decided to sack Flick on Sunday after Germany were embarrassed by Japan on Saturday, losing 4-1.
“We agreed that Representative A, after the last disappointing results, should have a new impulse”.
“We need a spirit of optimism and confidence, considering that the European is held in our country”.
“For me, personally, it was one of the most difficult decisions,” said Bernd Neuendorf, president of the German Football Association.
Germany with Flick had a very poor World Championship in Qatar, where they were eliminated in the group stage.
