Barcelona couldn’t have imagined a better start for new arrivals Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo, with the duo getting the first minutes against Osasuna, and since that moment Barcelona’s game has been transformed.
For Real Betis, Felix and Cancelo were on the list of performers.
Meanwhile, in the Champions League against Royal Antwerp, Cancelo once again impressed with his performance as Felix scored twice and provided an assist.
“I’m happy and I’m enjoying this,” said Felix first.
“Like last game, we played a big game. I am happy that we got the victory”, said the Portuguese.
However, he was aware that it won’t be easy at all at Barcelona, especially considering his recent adventure with Atletico Madrid.
“The most difficult thing is to maintain this level. I have started well and the team is doing well too. Being on top isn’t the hardest thing, but staying on top is. We must work to continue like this”, concluded the Portuguese.
This was what the Portuguese needed the most. Despite the rather weak start of the season, Felix scored 9 goals and made 3 assists.
His starts at Chelsea and Atletico Madrid boded well, continuity seemed to be a difficult step for him since he arrived in Spain.
