Rudi Garcia believes Real Madrid were very wise to replace Karim Benzema with Jude Bellingham, but hinted that Napoli also have plenty of options.

Garcia together with the captain of the team Giovanni Di Lorenzo, were present in front of the media on Monday to talk about the match they will play tomorrow (Tuesday) against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

“The Champions League is the best competition, it’s a special moment for the coaching staff and the players,” said Garcia first.

“Just hearing the Champions League anthem is enough to motivate. Napoli should play in the Champions League every season. “Real Madrid have a unique team, they still have at least ten players from the last final they won against Liverpool [in 2022],” said the Italian technician.

Speaking about the most dangerous players in Real Madrid’s squad, Garcia said: “They were good when they signed Bellingham to replace Benzema, even though they don’t cover the same position, but they also did well when they signed Joselu.”

This will not be the first meeting between Napoli and Real Madrid, as these two teams have faced each other twice in 2017, with Los Blancos winning both matches.

Both teams have won their first matches in Group C. Napoli defeated Braga 2-1 on the road, while Real Madrid triumphed with a minimum score of 1-0 against Union Berlin at the “Santiago Bernabeu”.
