Chelsea could see the strikers’ affairs resolved by three former employees, reports in Italy say.
Legendary Blues boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a swap deal that would see Romelu Lukaku join the Italian side permanently in exchange for Tammy Abraham.
In Mourinho’s first season at Roma, Abraham was an instant hit, scoring 27 goals in all competitions.
However, the Englishman slowed down in his second season and has been plagued by the ACL injury he picked up in the summer, meaning he is yet to feature this season.
Meanwhile, since joining on loan, Lukaku has scored five goals in as many games.
According to Calciomercatoweb, this has led Mourinho to consider a swap deal between the two clubs.
The Italian medium adds that the pair are valued at the same amount.
