Joao Felix has joined Barcelona on the last day of the summer transfer window.
The Portuguese striker was loaned to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid, but the Catalans do not have the right to buy at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has excelled in the first eight games, scoring three goals and assisting in two others.
However, the leaders of the Catalan club have already been informed of the price to be paid to Atletico Madrid if they want to keep Felix at the end of the season.
Atletico has informed Barcelona that in order to release the Portuguese star, they want to earn 80 million euros.
This amount is considered extremely high by Barça, which is going through a financial crisis, and the parties are expected to still discuss in the summer of 2024.
The goal of the Catalans is to reduce the price of the Portuguese between 50 and 60 million euros.
