Spanish football is shocked, the player is found dead in the train carriages

Spanish football has suffered a major shock after the death of 18-year-old Alvaro Prieto, a young player for Cordoba.

The footballer, who disappeared on Thursday 12 October after attending a party in Seville, was found dead at Santa Justa station.

According to what resulted, the body of the 18-year-old was found between two wagons of a train that had been out of service since August and was carrying out an operation test today without passengers.

The Cordoba team itself announced the death of the player and expressed its condolences to the young man’s family.

“Our deepest condolences to the family, they have our unconditional support. Thank you for being by our side in this difficult moment”, the club’s announcement states.

The dead body of the player was noticed by a reporter of “Espanola” television who was making a report on the disappearance of the 18-year-old. The player’s feet were spotted in the middle of the wagons and the alarm was raised from there.

Prieto was reportedly still wearing the green pants and shirt he was last seen wearing on October 12.
