Manchester United is considering spending 50 million euros for the French centre-back

Manchester United are on the hunt for a central defender and aim to enter the January transfer market.

Harry Maguire is expected to leave as there is interest in him and coach Erik Ten Hag aims to strengthen the defensive department.

Jean-Clair Todibo is the Red Devils’ main desire in defense with coach Ten Hag looking for him in the summer as well.

The French centre-back is in great form at Nice and is ready to take a step forward in his career.

The French medium Le 10 Sport has reported that the Red Devils are ready to offer up to 50 million euros in January for the transfer of the Frenchman to Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old is spending his third year at Nice, which transferred the center back from Barcelona for 8.5 million euros.

And the Catalans will also gain from his eventual sale, as they have kept 20 percent of Todibo’s card, and if the Frenchman is sold for 50 million euros, then 10 million will go to the Catalan club’s coffers.

This season, Todibo has played eight matches with Nice, assisting one goal. In addition to United, the Italian giant Juventus is also in the running for the center back.
