Sky Sports reports that Brentford will not accept any bid below €100m for Ivan Toney in the winter transfer window.
Previous reports that the Bees would be ready to part with the striker for around €70 million have been met with denials from their hierarchy.
Chelsea are among several clubs, including city rivals Arsenal, who are said to remain very interested in signing the Englishman in January.
However, Brentford have no intention of letting the 27-year-old leave in the winter window and want to keep him at least until the end of the current season.
Surprisingly, one of the arguments behind this exorbitant price is Chelsea’s willingness to spend over €100 million on Enzo and Caicedo, who have far less experience than the England international.
A proven goalscorer in the Premier League, Toney’s betting ban ends on January 16.
