Barcelona does not remove the Spanish offensive midfielder Dani Olmo from the list for two years now.

The attacking midfielder is shining in the elite of German football with the shirt of RB Leipzig, while he is well liked by coach Xavi Hernandez.

The 25-year-old plays as an advanced midfielder, but he also excels as a winger and coach Xavi Hernandez wants him on the right-hand side of the attack.

Mundo Deportivo has reported that the Catalans have not forgotten the former star of La Masia and intend to bring him back to Catalonia in 2024.

Olmo left Barcelona’s academy in 2014 for Dinamo Zagreb and has been part of Leipzig for four years.

Despite suffering an injury that will keep him out until the end of this year, Olmo excelled in the first seven games with six goals and one assist.

Olmo has always expressed his willingness to return to Barcelona, however it will not be easy as Leipzig values him at around 60 million euros.

Anyway, in addition to Barcelona, there are also Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG in the competition for the Spanish representative.
