Bruno Fernandes towards Saudi Arabia? The Portuguese could become the next star to land in the Middle East

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has already revealed whether he would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, Italian pundit Rudy Galetti claimed that the Saudi League is exploring the possibility of signing the United captain.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who scored the winning goal for his side against Fulham on Saturday, is said to be a definite name on the list of potential signings for next summer for the Arab clubs.

It is believed that representatives from the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which has majority stakes in Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli, will hold talks with the Portuguese star over a possible deal.

The report claims that the Portuguese star had the chance to leave Old Trafford on three occasions this summer after receiving three major offers from Saudi Arabia, but Fernandes has remained loyal to the club, rejecting all offers.

For now, at least, Fernandes seems motivated by the prospect of returning United to the top of English football.

“Obviously we wanted to win in a different way. We could have created more chances. But we got the victory and achieved our goal, so that’s the most important thing,” said the Portuguese after the challenge against Fulham.

The next challenge for Man United will be in the Champions League, where they will travel to Denmark to face Copenhagen, a team they defeated in the first match played at “Old Trafford” with a minimum score of 1- 0.
