Luis Enrique reveals the name of the most influential player in the world, it is not Messi or Mbappe

The former coach of Barcelona, now of Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique has named the most influential player in the world, surprising with the given name.

Enrique has managed some of the best players in the world, including Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez and Kylian Mbappe.

But the Spanish coach has said that the most influential player in the world of football today is Ousmane Dembele.

“I continue to insist on my point: Ousmane Dembele is the most influential footballer in the world. There are no doubts”, said Enrique first.

“Lazy people don’t care about mistakes. He continues, he likes to try. He doesn’t listen to criticism… he always generates good things,” concluded the PSG coach.

Dembele recently scored his first goal for PSG in 16 games last weekend. Although the Frenchman has five assists, it is hard to see how influential he has been since the start of the season.

However, there is some truth to how good Dembele can be when he decides to play. He was key to Barca’s title win last season and is one of the trickier players for defenders to tackle given his attacking nature.
