Chiesa’s future at Juventus depends on the next coach

Federico Chiesa is ready to sign a new contract with Juventus, but it is said that a lot depends on who will be the next coach of the Turin club.

The 26-year-old has less than two years left on his current contract with Torino and the club are keen to arm their star with a new deal. In the summer, he turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

Chiesa recently praised Italy coach Luciano Spalletti after the 5-2 win over North Macedonia, noting how the team is ‘more positive and attacking’ under their new manager.

However, in Turin there is a more pragmatic and defensive system under the orders of Massimiliano Allegri.

According to Tuttomercatoweb , Juventus director Crisitano Giuntoli is preparing for talks with Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, where they will discuss a new five-year contract for the Italian winger.

While the 26-year-old has favored the Old Lady, it is clear that he wants to play in a more attacking and positive system, so his decision will also depend on which coach replaces Allegri in Piedmont.
