The new Santiago Bernabeu is nearing completion. Its official unveiling was set to take place at the end of this month, although delays are expected to push it back to 2024 – but still, the stadium looks amazing.
While it may be aesthetically pleasing to look at, concerns have been raised about some of the accessibility features of the new stadium, as Paco Gonzalez explained to COPE’s Tiempo de Juego.
Gonzalez explained that he has friends who are Real Madrid season ticket holders and they have expressed their disappointment that the new seats are too cramped, which is uncomfortable, especially compared to stadiums like Civitas Metropolitano which have very wide seats. .
In addition, the new VIP area has caused some of the toilet facilities to be restricted, causing excessive delays for supporters.
The unfortunate thing for these fans is that these are unlikely to be changed by Real Madrid, although some cannot be changed, such as the toilet situation.
