In just two weeks, Kylian Mbappe will be free to discuss a potential transfer with any club as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain is set to expire in June 2024.
The 24-year-old has long been a coveted target for Real Madrid, and this winter is said to be Los Blancos’ last-ditch attempt to land the Frenchman at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Mbappe’s compatriot, former Arsenal icon Thierry Henry, is not so sure the player needs the move.
Henry has advised the versatile striker to remain at the Parc des Princes until the end of his career.
“If I were Kylian Mbappe, I wouldn’t leave. I would like to finish what I started”, Henry first told CSB Sports.
“I mean, why does he have to leave? He loves Paris, he was born in that city, you must understand that.”
“I want him to stay until the end”, concluded the French legend.
