“We want Salah and De Bruyne”, Saudi Arabia’s head of transfers confirms desire for Premier League stars

Saudi Arabia’s head of transfers, Michael Emenalo, has outlined his ambitions for strengthening the league in the coming years.

The Saudi Arabian Super League has already attracted top-class players from European leagues.

Big names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez and Kalidou Koulibaly all now play in the Saudi Super League.

However, the Arabs do not want to stop there as they target other big names for the future.

“Mo Salah, like Messi, Benzema, Ronaldo and like Kevin De Bruyne, these are players that when there is a feeling of availability for them, we are ready to listen to them”, Emenalo initially said to .Sky Sports News

“But we also understand that Mo is happy where he is at the moment and at a historic, wonderful club like Liverpool. We respect that a lot and we don’t want to come across as pressure on him.”

“But if there is any interest in doing something, Mo Salah is a player you want in your league, in any league.”

“We respect Liverpool and in this scenario, the initiative to do something will not come from us. There must be an interest from all parties involved”, concluded the head of transfers in Saudi Arabia.
