Chelsea are reportedly considering a swap deal with Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Conor Gallagher.
According to Sky Sports , Spurs are keen on the Englishman they tried to sign in the summer.
However, Mauricio Pochettino is said to be happy with the midfielder, but Gallagher and the club must decide what they want to do.
There is still no agreement on a contract renewal and if the situation does not change, Chelsea could be open to selling the Englishman in the event of a significant offer.
However, new reports have claimed that Spurs are willing to offer Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in a possible swap deal for Gallagher.
Fans may not think of a trade between the two rivals, but in recent years we have seen even more controversial transfers.
The January transfer window can bring big surprises to the ‘merkato’.
