Pique Released From Hospital

Gerard Pique was released from hospital to continue healing at his home.
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has not trained last week because of a virus in his stomach.

Pique has stayed at hospital all week, but today he has been released by doctors and will continue his treatment at home.

“Gerard Pique has been released from hospital and his healing will continue at home. The player has had stomach ache throughout the week, he has not trained at all with the first team. Over the next few days we will monitor his situation,  – Barcelona’s announcement.

Pique will miss today’s match against Las Palmas in La Liga but is expected to be ready for the final match against Eibar at Camp Nou and Copa del Rey’s final at Alaves.
