Official: Dortmund name new coach

Peter Bosz has been named new coach of Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund did not wait long to find the successor of Thomas Tuchelin, who left the squad at the end of the season.
Dortmund named Dutchman Peter Bosz, who recently managed Ajax.

“Peter Bosz is the new BVB Head Coach
The German Cup winner and Champions League participant Borussia Dortmund has signed the Dutchman Peter Bosz as their new Head Coach. The 53 year old will sign a two year contract today, Tuesday, 6. June that will last until the 30. June, 2019.
Bosz has just completed a very successful season as the Head Coach of Ajax Amsterdam, where he came in second in the Dutch Eredivision one point behind Feyenoord Rotterdam and he also reached the final of the UEFA Europa League with Ajax.
As a player Peter Bosz made 310 appearances as a professional in the 1990’s, where he played in the Eredivision, the UEFA Champions League and also 14 games for Hansa Rostock in the Bundesliga. He took part in the European Championships in 1992 and played a total of eight games for the Dutch national side. In 1993 he won the Championship with Feyenoord and all in all he won the Dutch Cup on three occasions.
