Sevilla have ‘made good progress’ in their attempts to sign Manchester City forward Nolito and have reportedly agreed personal terms.

It is yet unclear if the 30-year-old will join the Andalucians on a permanent deal or a season-long loan agreement, with the clubs set to negotiate on the nature of the transfer.

“When talking about top players, you can never say things are completely done,” Castro told Radio Sevilla.

“It’s true that we have not spoken about any other options as we have made good progress in getting Nolito to play for us.”

Despite scoring three goals in his first four appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side, the former Celta Vigo forward reportedly fell out with his Coach and made only one league appearance since the turn of the year.
