Real Madrid patron Florentino Perez is ready to let Welsh superstar Gareth Bale leave the club this summer. According to Diario Gol, the President is also about to cause another sensation on the transfer market by offering the 27-year-old in a player plus cash deal for Italian midfielder Marco Verratti.

Having paid Spurs €101M for Bale back in 2013, injuries at vital parts of last season has seen Perez grow increasingly frustrated with the player he brought in to be the long term successor to Cristiano Ronaldo. Now reports from Spain suggest he’s ready to cut his losses and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be ready to pounce.

Le Parisien claims that club from the capital are not prepared to go above €80M to bring Bale to the Parc des Princes but Real Madrid on the other hand, have their sights firmly set on hijacking Barcelona’s move for 24-year-old Verratti. The Catalan giants are pushing for a deal to be done but Perez is now thought to have told the Ligue 1 side they can have Bale for €60M plus Verratti.
