ARSENAL have offered £22million for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, according to reports in Colombia.

Arsenal are spending big this summer with marquee signing Alexandre Lacazette close to completing his move to the Emirates.

However, the Gunners are not finished there and have reportedly also tabled a £22m offer for Juan Cuadrado.

Colombian radio station RCN claim Arsene Wenger has been personally working on a deal for the Juventus winger.

But the former Chelsea man is said to be happy in Turin and is not keen on a return to the Premier League.

Cuadrado struggled during his first spell in English football and was swiftly loaned out by the Blues.

The 29-year-old had two loan spells with Juventus before signing for the club permanently in May.

Arsenal first emerged as targets for the Colombia international last weekend following claims from Italian reporter Tancredi Palmeri.

The journalist said the Gunners had reached out to Cuadrado about a potential summer move.

However, the winger’s agent Alessandro Lucci claimed last month no clubs were showing interest in his client.

“Juan does not want to leave Juve and Juve do not want to sell him so there are no ongoing negotiations at the moment,” Lucci said.

“Nobody has neither contacted me nor Juventus and I am the only one in charge to talk about the future of Juan.”

Cuadrado made 45 appearances in all competitions for Juve last term, scoring three goals and providing 10 assists.
