The fight to sign French striking sensation Kylian Mbappe continues. The 18-year-old is at the centre of a huge tug-of-war between some of Europe’s heavyweight clubs and none of them comes bigger than Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are desperate to bring the youngster to the Santiago Bernabeu for next season but the battle with French side Paris Saint-Germain is hotting up. The Parisians are ready to table a €120M offer for the player but according to latest reports, Mbappe has always had his heart set on a move to the Spanish capital.
His current side Monaco are in no hurry to off-load their talisman but they are aware that they will collect a huge amount from whoever finally wins the race for his signature. Don Balon writes this morning that the club from the principality will let their young prodigy go to Real Madrid this summer, but want highly-rated midfielder Marco Asensio to head in the opposite direction; an operation that could see the overall price of the transfer rise to over €150M.
