The midfielder is thought to be keen on United signing Serge Aurier from PSG, and has made that very clear to Mourinho and the board, urging them to push a move through.
That’s according to the French version of Goal, who claim Pogba thinks he would be ideal for United, and that Mourinho is keen on bringing in more players – though quite if a right back is on that list remains to be seen given the form of Antonio Valencia.
One player who could be joining United is Nemanja Matic, who has seen Juventus pull out of the race to sign him due to his asking price, and with Chelsea keen to sell, there are even claims Roman Abramovich will personally agree to selling to a rival club.
Matic is also desperate to leave, and would relish linking up with Mourinho once again, and being able to stay in the Premier League and England, where he is happy and settled.
