Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set for the Chinese Super League in January according to reports in Germany.
BILD claim that the forward has sealed a deal with Chinese side and that will secure his move but only in the January transfer window.
The Chinese Super League window has now closed for the summer and will reopen around January.
That means that Aubameyang will remain as a Dortmund player for now but that may well change when the transfer window comes back around.
AC Milan were also linked with a move for the Gabon international but that now looks increasingly unlikely.
Chelsea too were linked but chose to pursue a deal for Alvaro Morata who signed for the Stamford Bridge side on Friday.
It is not yet certain how much a transfer would cost to take Aubameyang to China but Dortmund are set to receive a mega money fee.
It wasn’t very friendly between AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund when they met on Tuesday.
The owners were previously unhappy with each other over the pursuit of Aubameyang.
