REAL MADRID advisors reportedly have Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford on their transfer wishlist this summer.
Rashford is currently with the Manchester United squad on their pre-season tour of America.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals from as many games despite the arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
Rashford has enjoyed a huge rise to prominence just 17 months after making his debut in a Europa Leauge tie against FC Midtjylland under former boss Louis van Gaal.
Current manager Jose Mourinho views him as central to his plans going forward and played him more than any other player during his first season at Old Trafford.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, need a striker after letting Alvaro Morata join Chelsea.
The Spain international initially looked like joining Rashford at United but their decision to go for Lukaku – and consequently cool their interest – means he will be plying his trade at Stamford Bridge next term.
And Diario Gol claim Rashford is now on a four-man list of targets.
They want young talent to nurture going forward and, given Rashford is England’s brightest striking talent, he fits the bill.
However, Real know Mourinho is reluctant to let any of his best players go after regularly rebuffing Madrid’s attempts to land goalkeeper David De Gea.
The two teams’ difficult transfer relationship was also one of the reasons why Morata was not allowed to move to Old Trafford.
Diario Gol add Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the sole marquee name who could replace Morata.
And youngsters Timo Werner and Kasper Dolberg are also on their list.
