Report: Real Madrid ready to part with Karim Benzema

According to a report from Diario Gol, Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to listen to offers for striker Karim Benzema.

Benzema arrived at the Bernabeu in 2009 from French side Lyon for a fee of 35 million Euro, with the striker having racked up 3 Champions League titles, 2 La Ligas and 2 Copa Del Reys since.

He has maintained an exact ratio of 1 in 2 in the Spanish top flight to this point, having netted 122 goals in 244 appearances.

However, the 29-year-old managed just 11 La Liga goals last season, with the Blancos board reportedly far from impressed with the performances of the French striker.

As a result, Diario Gol report that Real President Florentino Perez has put Benzema up for sale, with the capital outfit keen to bring in a marquee signing at centre-forward this summer.

AS Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe has been heavily linked, with some sources in Spain even suggesting that the Champions League holders could offer Benzema in exchange as part of their offer for European football’s most in-demand youngster.

Other potential suitors for Benzema include Serie A giants AC and Inter Milan, along with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester United.
