‘The first leg will be played on Sunday 13th August, at the Camp Nou, while the return leg will be played on Wednesday 16th at the Santiago Bernabeu’.

Barcelona, by their own huge standards, endured a disappointing campaign after finishing second to Real and were knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus in the quarter-finals as their Spanish counterparts went on to lift the trophy.

Now managed by Ernesto Valverde, the Catalans will be desperate to get early revenge on Zinedine Zidane’s side in the Spanish curtain-raiser.
