Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele this summer.
According to L’Equipe, via Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Real Madrid are in talks to sign Dembele.
Despite Madrid’s interest, Dembele is said to favour a move to Barcelona, possibly given the recent sale of Neymar.
Barcelona announced the departure of Neymar on Thursday, leaving the club to join PSG in a world-record €222m deal.
This has left a gap in the Barcelona forward line which Dembele could fill next season.
Dortmund, though, value Dembele at €100m. It is not mentioned whether Barcelona or Real Madrid would be willing to match that price.
Dembele had an outstanding first season at Dortmund, registering 18 assists last season in all competitions.
The Frenchman also netted 11 goals for club and country, playing 54 games in the process.
The 20-year-old is able to play anywhere across the forward line.
