Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has laughed off suggestions that Barcelona will make a move for Belgian star Eden Hazard to replace Neymar Jr.

There have been many links between Barcelona and attacking players in recent weeks and Hazard has been one of those names mentioned.

The Belgian has ruled the Premier League since arriving from Lille but has been linked with a move away in recent seasons.

Links have mainly been towards Barcelona’s rivals in Real Madrid with several reports in the past claiming that he would move to the Spanish giants.

Now, having stayed put at Chelsea, Barcelona are looking at the possibility of replacing their outbound star in Neymar with Hazard.

Though, Antonio Conte was clearly having none of it during his press conference ahead of the clubs Community shield clash with Arsenal.

The Italian claimed that the player was happy at Chelsea and that they are looking to bring players in, not let players go.

Safe to say, Conte seems very confident that Eden Hazard will not be leaving for Barcelona.
Forward responds to Barcelona links

Eden Hazard has not been the first player to be linked as a replacement for Neymar at Barcelona, nor will he be the last.

One of the other names on the list is Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele who the Catalan giants are seemingly looking to sign.

The Frenchman is one of the most talented youngsters in world football and would certainly be able to adequately fill Neymar’s boots in theory.

Further to that, it seems as though Dembele is not opposed to leaving Germany for Catalunya.

In fact, the Frenchman welcomed rumours in his latest interview.
