PSG president in Madrid to discuss massive money deals with Atletico and Real Madrid

Paris Saint Germain president Nasser Al Khelaïfi is reportedly in Madrid to discuss big money deals with Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid for two players.

One comes in the form of Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak according to AS as PSG look to bring in a big name star between the sticks.

The Paris side already have talented young goalkeepers in Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola but seemingly are looking for world class quality.

Oblak certainly provides that and has been moulded into one of the best goalkeepers in world football over the past couple of years in Madrid.

Now, PSG are looking to test Atletico’s resolve over a potential deal which would not come cheap in the slightest.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that Al Khelaïfi was set to meet with Oblak’s representatives on Saturday but would like to also speak with Atletico.

Safe to say, they would be unwilling to sell while their transfer ban stands, the main reason striker Antoine Griezmann chose to stay at the club.

Al Khelaïfi is also set for talks with Real Madrid over PSG’s Belgian defender Thomas Meunier.

The Belgian could be set to play the role of back-up this season with Dani Alves coming into the club on a huge wage.

It is extremely unlikely that Alves will spend any time on the bench this seasons so Meunier could look to leave the club.

Real Madrid are said to be interested, hence discussions with Al Khelaïfi.

Not only does Dani Alves’ transfer put Thomas Meunier’s future in doubt, it practically seals Serge Aurier’s.

The Ivorian has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea in recent months and a deal is certainly being discussed.

It seems as though the defenders future in Paris looks set to end during the summer window but a deal must be reached.
