Crystal Palace completed the signing of Man United youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah on a season-long loan on Thursday afternoon.

The 19-year-old joined United from the Ajax youth academy and broke through into the Man United first team, making his debut against Arsenal in February 2016.

He’s made a total of 21 senior appearances and has starred for the Netherlands Under-21 side twice.

The news was announced on the official Man United Twitter account on Thursday afternoon and confirmed on Crystal Palace’s Twitter page.

Fosu-Mensah joins up with fellow countryman Frank de Boer who is the manager at Selhurst Park.

The versatile youngster can play at centre-back, right-back or in a defensive midfield position and will be looking to gain valuable Premier League experience.
