Barcelona potential formation against Juventus

Barcelona host Juventus at the Camp Nou in what will be both clubs’ opening fixture in this season’s Champions League and Barcelona will be looking to secure all three points due to their home advantage.

A convincing win in this match would be a key step in the home-side securing the top spot in Group D despite them entering the group from Pot 2 of the Champions League draw.

Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti have formed an impressive understanding since Umtiti’s arrival in the summer of 2016. The duo will start in the heart of Barcelona’s defence ahead of Javier Mascherano.

Midfield

Dembele may be introduced off the bench but a start will come to soon for Barcelona’s club record signing due to him only playing 20 minutes of football in the last month. Luis Suarez will be deployed in the middle of the Spanish side’s attacking trio.
