Torino’s Italian star striker Andrea Belotti was involved in a car accident yesterday afternoon after undergoing training with his teammates at the club’s training ground.
The 24-year-old forward’s car had a rear-end crash that luckily for the player and the driver, did not have any grave consequences or injuries.
Calciomercato report that both the cars involved in the crash suffered damage but both Belotti and the other cab driver are safe and did not suffer any kind of injury after the car accident took place.
Belotti is one of the most wanted strikers in Europe. The Italian scored an impressive 24 goals in the Italian Serie A last season and has already taken his this season’s tally to six goals in six games whilst playing in all competitions so far in the new campaign.
The lethal finisher had been linked with moves to Chelsea, Milan and Manchester United in the summer transfer window but all three clubs failed to match Torino’s demand of fulfilling Belotti’s release clause amounting to a mammoth €100m.
However, Belotti’s release clause is only applicable to clubs outside of the Serie A. Any of the other Serie A clubs can sign Belotti for a lesser price.
