Tottenham Hotspur cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over APOEL, last night in the Champions League with striker Harry Kane again among the goals scoring a hat-trick as he continued his dream run in front of goal.

Coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has always praised the England international, and after watching him score a perfect hat-trick – right foot, left foot, header, in front of his eyes, he gave in to the ongoing comparisons with Ronaldo and Messi.

“Cristiano is fantastic; one of the best,” said Pochettino, as quoted by Telegraph.

He continued, “Harry is one of the best and maybe better because he is young but I cannot talk about that because both are fantastic. Why do you have to choose?”

Pochettino also acknowledged how different the players are and has suggested how unfair it would be to compare the likes of Messi and Cristiano – who aren’t traditional number 9s, to Harry Kane.

“They are completely different types. Cristiano is not a main striker, like Messi. Harry has something special in front of the goal. All the strikers who are at this level do. They are killers,” he concluded.

After bagging two wins in two games, Spurs are tied with defending champions Real Madrid in group H. The top two will go head to head three weeks from now at the Santiago Bernabeu.
