Spanish media outlet Don Ballon reports that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has decided he wants to play for Real Madrid and that the interest is mutual from Los Merengues coach Zinedine Zidane.
The French tactician tried to sign Hazard this past summer but according to Don Ballon, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez did not wish to make that kind of an investment. However, now things have changed and according to the report, new contacts have been made and Perez has not declined Zidane’s request to bring the Belgian international to the Bernabeu.
In fact, as Don Ballon reports, Zidane has made it clear to Hazard that he will do his utmost to sign the player when the transfer window opens next summer on one condition. That condition is that Hazard showcases his talent for the entire world to see during the World Cup in Russia at which point Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will break the bank to sign the player.
