Ceballos came on to play just 29 seconds

Zinedine Zidane used his third and final substitution of Real Madrid’s trip to Leganes in the last minute of stoppage time, meaning that Dani Ceballos was only on the pitch for 29 seconds.

The former Real Betis player replaced Mateo Kovacic for his first appearance since January 18, although a 29-second role probably isn’t what Ceballos has been hoping for.

That last appearance came at the same stadium, as Ceballos took on Leganes in the Copa del Rey.

His last action in LaLiga was on December 9, 2017, when Real Madrid defeated Sevilla 5-0 at home.
