Atletico Madrid manager explains who got Barca the win at the Camp Nou
“If we take the [Barca] jersey off Messi, and put on an Atletico one, maybe we would have won 1-0. But this is like the barrio, the best player is with them.”

Leo Messi has scored the only goal in the match between Barcelona and Atletico at the Camp Nou. Barcelona are now 8 points clear at the top of La Liga.

Simeone also praised Barca coach Ernesto Valverde: “I think what Valverde did with Barcelona after Neymar’s departure was great. He proved in football that there is no single style. He played with a 4-4-2, different to the usual Barça.”
