Chelsea FC star replies to Real Madrid transfer speculation

Marcos Alonso plays down speculation linking him with a transfer from Chelsea FC to Real Madrid

Marcos Alonso has played down the speculation linking him with a transfer from Chelsea FC to Real Madrid this summer.
The defender has been a regular fixture in the first team at Stamford Bridge this season and he helped the west London side to win the title last term in his first campaign at the club.
The 27-year-old has scored six goals and made one assist in 28 Premier League games for Chelsea FC so far this season and he will be hoping to help the Blues end the campaign on a high.
Real Madrid have been credited with an interest in signing Alonso as the Spanish club look to try and overhaul their squad this summer.
However, the player himself has insisted that he is not thinking about the reports linking him with a move to Spain at the moment.

Asked about the reported links to Real Madrid, Alonso is quoted as saying by Metro: “I haven’t considered that possibility, I just try to give the best of myself to my team.”
Meanwhile, Alonso will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Blues are currently fifth in the table as they bid to break back into the top four.
