Tevez reportedly injured in prison football match

It must have been an awkward moment when Carlos Tevez returned to Boca Juniors to learn the diagnosis of his latest injury.

That is because his calf problem was reportedly picked up while playing football in the prison that holds his brother.

Clarin claim that an intense 20 minute kickaround left the striker with a muscle injury that will keep him sidelined for three weeks to a month.

The incident occurred in a prison in Cordoba, where Tevez’s brother Beto is currently serving a 16-year sentence for his part in an armed robbery.
