Real Madrid ‘close’ Harry Kane transfer: Gareth Bale set for return to Tottenham

REAL MADRID believe they will complete the signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer.

The England international has been in top form again this season, scoring 37 goals in all competitions.
And that has led to interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their outlandish transfer claims, report Spurs want £152m (€175m) for their star man.
But Real are keen to lower that price by offering Tottenham Gareth Bale in a huge swap deal.
Los Blancos are ready to let the Wales ace leave due to a lack of form and another injury-plagued campaign.

Real Madrid have struggled to keep up with the pace in La Liga and sit 15 points behind arch-rivals Barcelona.
President Florentino Perez believes Kane is just the solution to the problems the Champions League holders have experienced this season.
Kane will hope to be back among the goals this Saturday when Tottenham take on Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

And the 24-year-old will also be keen to impress with England at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
Bale will not be at the tournament after Wales failed to qualify.
The forward has netted 14 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Real Madrid this season.

And he will hope to add another Champions League trophy to his CV this season as Los Blancos face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
If Real win they would take on either Liverpool or Roma in the final.
