In an interview for the Spanish daily “Marca”, the talented young player of Real Madrid, Marco Asensio, has talked about the possible departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from the Bernabeu.
He said he would not be able to play without the Portuguese super star.
“I can not imagine playing without Cristiano,” the 22-year-old said in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
Asensio used the opportunity to discuss other topics during this interview, both for the World Cup and his club career, revealing that one of his teammates in Madrid is his inspiration.
“Sergio Ramos is the person I can learn a lot from. He has won everything, “Asensio said.
Asensio, who is one of 23 players chosen by Spain’s coach for the 2018 World Cup, is still looking for the first goal for his country and hopes it will come to this very big tournament.
“It seems difficult to find the first goal for the national team, but I hope to score in the World Cup,” he said.
