Aaron Ramsey has only just arrived at Juventus, but already the Welshman is trying to speak Italian and showed off his language skills at a press conference on Wednesday.
Ramsey even apologised for not speaking even better Italian on his first day.
“I’m very content to have come to Juventus,” Ramsey said during his appearance in front of the media.
“This is one of the greatest teams in the world.
“I apologise for my Italian as it’s not very good, but I am studying it.”
This sparked fresh criticism of Gareth Bale on social media, with some users wondering how Ramsey could feel confident enough to try Italian on his first day when Bale rarely speaks Spanish even after six years at Real Madrid.
