PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel has snubbed Neymar from the matchday squad for Friday’s fixture against Metz. The boss has claimed the Brazilian’s situation hasn’t changed yet.
It seems that Tuchel has had enough of Neymar-related questions. He reacts angrily at the whole situation during the most recent press conference.
Asked whether the forward stays or goes, the German specialist goes wild, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“You think we made the deadline? It’s a little late for the deadline, right? Now, it’s September 2, right? It changes everything, but what can I say?
“Everyone knows my opinion. You know that it’s not the coach who decides everything in a situation like this, in a big club, with a big, big player. It’s a situation with a lot of parties.
“The first goal is to arrive on September 3 and after that, we can think about the composition of this team. I do not want that, but it’s the reality of football.
On Thursday’s afternoon, trustworthy transfer guru Gianluca di Marzio stated that Neymar was closing on his Barcelona return. The alleged deal was expected to be completed during the course of the day. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
